About the Learning Episode courses

Each course takes a key element from my model of a Learning Episode, which is my process for sequencing different types of instruction and activities when teaching mathematics.

In these courses I share what I used to do (which is often quite painful for me!), why I changed my mind, and what I do now. Each course is jam-packed full of research, resources and practical strategies. Perhaps most importantly, I am able to share the key lessons and practical examples I have learned in the last two years visiting schools all around the world who have taken my ideas and made them work for their contexts.

Taken together, the seven courses build on each other as we progress through the Learning Episode. But each course works as a stand-alone unit.

I hope the ideas in these courses will help our students develop both a greater understanding and a greater love of our subject, as well as making our lives as teachers a little bit easier.

Please note

The prices of the courses below are per person. It is not permitted to buy a single log-in and then share it with colleagues, or show the videos to a number of people at a meeting or training event.

Hopefully you agree that the courses represent good value for money, and I need to ensure I protect my livelihood.

If you wish to discuss bulk purchase discounts or using my materials in another form, please drop me an email at mrbartonmaths@gmail.com. Thanks so much for your understanding.
